Return & Refund Policy (All Sales Final)

1) Custom-Made Products — No Returns or Refunds

All RZ Cars products are made to order and customized to your specifications. For this reason, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds once an order is placed.

This policy helps us keep build schedules reliable and ensures each commission receives the time and attention it deserves.

2) Review All Listing Photos Before Purchase

Before placing an order, customers should carefully examine all product photos and descriptions on the product page. These images and details represent the level of finish, component types, and typical variations you can expect in a handcrafted, small-batch build.

3) Pre-Shipment Approval (Photos + Video Required)

To guarantee you’re happy with your custom RC car before it ships, we follow a formal approval process:

  • When your build is complete, we send high-resolution photos and a short video showing the exterior details (paint, decals, wheels), lighting functions, and basic operation.

  • You’ll review and approve these media assets in writing (email or message).

  • We will not ship until we receive your written approval.

  • Once approved, the order is considered accepted as-is and final. After approval, no cancellations, modifications, returns, or refunds are available.

Approval template (you can copy/paste):

“I, [Full Name], approve the final photos/video for order #[Order Number]. I understand this is a custom, made-to-order product and all sales are final. Please proceed with shipment to [Address].”

4) Handcrafted Variations & Tolerances

Due to the custom, hand-finished nature of our builds, minor variations (e.g., paint tone, decal alignment within small tolerances, hand-painted cockpit details, 1–3 mm fit differences) are normal and part of the product’s uniqueness. Such variations are not defects and are not grounds for return or refund.

5) Electronics Testing & What’s Included

Each build undergoes a recorded bench test before approval media are sent. Batteries and chargers are not included unless your order states otherwise. Using incompatible batteries/chargers, immersion in water, hard impacts, or misuse voids any support.

6) Traxxas Chassis Warranty & Electronics Support

If your custom build is purchased on a Traxxas chassis (e.g., Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0) with Traxxas electronics, those components are covered exclusively by Traxxas’ manufacturer warranty under their terms and conditions.

  • For electronics issues (ESC, motor, receiver, transmitter, servo, etc.), please contact Traxxas Customer Support directly to start a warranty claim.

  • Keep your RZ Cars invoice and any Traxxas serial/lot numbers—they may be required by Traxxas.

  • RZ Cars is not a Traxxas warranty service center and cannot approve, deny, or replace items under Traxxas’ warranty; we’re happy to provide documentation to assist your claim.

  • Note: Modifications, non-Traxxas accessories, water damage, crashes, or misuse may void manufacturer warranties.

  • Traxxas warranty does not cover cosmetic body shells or custom finish work, which remain subject to our all-sales-final policy.

7) Damage in Transit (Shipping Insurance Claims)

We pack securely and ship with tracking; most shipments include carrier insurance. If your package arrives with visible damage:

  1. Photograph the shipping box, all packaging, and the product from multiple angles before use.

  2. Retain all packaging.

  3. Notify us within 48 hours at ramil@rzcars.shop with your order number and photos/video.

We will help file a carrier insurance claim. Remedies for carrier-confirmed damage are limited to repair or replacement (at our discretion) based on the insurance outcome. We cannot issue refunds for transit damage. Do not send any item back without written instructions from us.

8) Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the package, contact the carrier and us right away. We’ll assist with an investigation. Outcomes depend on the carrier’s findings and insurance coverage.

9) Cancellations & Changes

Because every build is custom, work typically starts shortly after your order is placed. Orders cannot be canceled after work begins. If we agree to a cancellation in rare cases before work starts, we may deduct actual costs (materials ordered, design time).

10) International Orders

Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. Refused or unclaimed international packages are not eligible for refunds. If a package is returned due to unpaid duties, the buyer is responsible for any re-shipping fees.

11) Returns for Service (When Authorized)

If we determine service is needed, we’ll issue written return authorization with instructions. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Service/repair outcomes are limited to repair or replacement of affected parts (no refunds).
